In order to speed up the registration process for our parent community of Jackson County Schools, you may partially register on-line for the 2011-2012 school year. Jackson County
School District has partnered with a safe and secure on-line company to provide this service. Please read the following information regarding the on-line registration.
Everyone MUST have an e-mail account in order to create an account for access to the on-line registration site once the access code has been received from the school. The registration completion confirmation will be sent via e-mail. If a parent or guardian completing the on-line registration does not have an e-mail account, there are several options which will make on-line registering possible:
- The availability of free on-line e-mail accounts such a gmail, hotmail, etc., could be setup in advance.
- If an e-mail account is not available, parents/guardians should go to the school in which students are to be
registered, and the school will assist with an account.
Additional Registration Information
Snapcode (Access Code):
The snapcode (access code) will be provided to the legal parent/guardian of the student(s) by the schools for all students, whether the students are returning students or newly enrolled students. There will be a call out from the schools regarding the dates when the snapcode (access codes) and instructions are available to be picked up from the appropriate school in which the student is to be registered. A photo ID will be required for returning student verification before receiving the snapcode (access code) and instructions. New students will be required to show proof of residency. If a call has NOT been received prior to July 13th to pickup the snapcode (access code) for your student(s), please contact the school(s) in which the student(s) is/are to be registered. The Snapcode and Instruction letter will be availabe July 13-15. Contact the school for office hours.
NOTE: This is the first year the district is providing this service; therefore, it is not possible to provide the access codes without the legal parents/guardians coming to the school. When the schools have accurate e-mail addresses for all parents/guardians, the codes will be sent via e-mail the following years.
